Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tightener, who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. One of America's top tight ends ever, he is the holder of an NFL record for most receiving yards for every tight end. He also ranks as the third-highest player in terms of number of receptions.
The former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports studio analyst. Gonzalez has appeared on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's 1-hour NFL pregame broadcast prior to FOX NFL SUNSET) and is broadcast each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET during the NFL season.
Gonzalez has resigned from the Falcons on March 15, 2013. He signed a contract that was of $14 million for two years, regardless of the fact that he had claimed that he was retiring after the season. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012, in 2012, and Gonzalez (37 years old) was the one of the NFL's top receivers.
